Brand Identity

Origin of the Company Name

The name Azuriris, Inc. is derived from two words: Azure and Iris.

“Azure” refers to a bright, vivid shade of blue—specifically, the color of a clear sky—originating from the deep blue gemstone lapis lazuli.
“Iris” is known in Greek mythology as the goddess of the rainbow, who served as a messenger bridging the world of the gods and that of humans. The word also refers to a flower in the iris family, symbolizing beauty and elegance.
Lapis lazuli is associated with meanings such as truth and wisdom. In Japan, it is also known to represent guaranteed success, health, and good fortune, while the iris flower symbolizes hope, wisdom, and good news.

At Azuriris, we strive to bridge the gap between healthcare providers and patients through the delivery of innovative drugs. Our mission is to bring hope to patients and deliver good news to their families, while contributing to the health and well-being of people everywhere.

Corporate Colors

Azuriris’s corporate color is purple, inspired by the iris flower. As a secondary color, we use azure.”

Corporate Logo

Azuriris’s corporate logo is designed based on the iris flower, symbolizing a rainbow stretching across a clear sky and a path toward the future. It combines the azure blue of the sky, the purple of the iris flower, and a rainbow that evokes the goddess Iris—together expressing the origin of our name and mission.
